Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD) is an autonomous educational institution established by the Government of Kerala in 1987. It endeavours to provide education and training of consistently high standards through innovative and versatile programmes suitable for the current and emerging needs of the community. Presently IHRD has about 90 educational institutions in Kerala.

IHRD is organising a series of Faculty Development Programmes in Engineering & Technology at its different centers to impart high quality training in the emerging areas. To begin with, we are organizing Faculty Development Programmes at Model Finishing School Trivandrum and two at Model Engineering College, Kochi  (Please see brochures). Eminent faculties from IITs, IISc, NITs and leading research labs and industries are handling the classes. This will be followed by similar programmes in the coming months in different IHRD centers.
